Hi – I’m Sarah, and I run Firebird Plants! I started this nursery in 2026, and I run it out of my home in Madison, Wisconsin.
I have two specialties: native Midwestern plants (mostly perennial forbs, grasses, and shrubs, but also some annuals, biennials, and trees); and perennial food plants.
I sell plants primarily in the spring (May-June) and fall (September-November), because these are the best times to plant most perennial plants in Wisconsin. During those seasons, I will have a self-service plant stand in my driveway, and you can drop in anytime – I take cash or venmo. I also do online orders via email.
